Automating J2EE Applications and JavaOne Video

September 2008 Meeting

The month this meeting will be divided into two parts. In the first part Phurnace will give an overview of the J2EE automation tool. In the second part of the meeting we will watch one of the videos from JavaOne. The specific session that we watch is up to you! Please note that the first presentation starts at 4:15.

Phurnace Presentation

In this presentation, we will show you how it is now possible to fully automate the deployment of J2EE applications and make configuration changes without the use of scripts or manual processes. Phurnace Deliverª accelerates the deployment of Java EE applications and can dramatically reduce web app server degradation and downtime. It eliminates the error-prone, repetitive heartaches associated with the set up, configuration and migration of software running on web application servers -- regardless of vendor or version (IBM, BEA, JBoss).
